| Summary | When running non-interactively, errors should be printed to stderr |
|---|---|
| Description |
Errors are currently always printed to stdout, irrespective of whether R3 is running interactively or with a script and/or redirected I/O. This makes errors basically "invisible" for running scripts which have their output redirected. Instead, errors should be printed to stderr, at least when running non-interactively (but, quite possibly, that's always a good idea, for errors which escape to the top-level). |
